We have had a whirlwind of a start to the new year. Already in 2019 Modgy has exhibited at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Show at The Americas Mart, Las Vegas Market Week, NY Now and this past week The International Housewares Show in Chicago. Coming up later this month we are doing our first Ace Hardware Show followed buy one of our favorite and most fun shows, the Museum Store Association (MSA).
The MSA show is great in that it moves every year. So far we have been to MSA shows in Houston, Hartford, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Washington DC and this year we are off to the sun of San Diego. We always see old friends and make new ones at MSA and get to visit all sorts of interesting museums and sites. In Atlanta we got to party at the Jimmy Carter Library, in Pittsburgh we got our groove on at the Warhol Museum and a private tour with cocktails in hand. In Hartford we were wooed by fire-breathers at a wonderful party in the High Museum.
So you are probably wondering, what new stuff did Modgy introduce at these shows so far this year? We have a variety of new vases, luminaries, dog bowls and coasters, all ready to ship now. Most exciting is our new Magnolia Window Vase and Luminary that we created in collaboration with the Morse Museum of American Art in Florida. It’s probably our most beautiful piece yet.
